Dear Mr. Dubovi,

I am writing this letter to tell my disagreement with the school absence policy. I think this policy is unfair for some reasons.

First, just becase a student is ill doesn’t mean his grade should be lowered. I remember coming to school one day with a fever just so I won’t miss class.

Besides, there are many justifiable reason to miss school – appointments related to the military, driving tests, driving theory tests, blood tests and others.

I know that I had missed 130 days of school so far but I feel that I should not be punished for this. After all, I write English very god despite I haven’t been in class all year. Please consider my point of view.

Sincerely,

                               Tom Jones
